Selling on Facebook with Open2b

Facebook is the world’s largest social network, with hundreds of millions of people connected every day. According to Casaleggio Associati (Report E‑Commerce Italia 2017), Facebook is still considered the most useful social media by 72% of Italian e-commerce companies. On your Facebook Page you can now open a complete showcase connected to your online store.

Why publish and sell on Facebook?

  • Complete your communication and promotion mix on social (ads, posts, support)
  • A showcase is much less intrusive than ads; users can discover it organically
  • Lets potential buyers reach your online store via Open2b’s direct connection
  • Encourages sharing product pages with friends and gathering feedback
  • Unlike pay‑per‑click ads, Facebook doesn’t charge to display products on your Page
  • The service publishes in view‑only mode on Facebook; sales are completed on your connected online store
  • Overly aggressive promotions can harm your brand. Facebook is a social network built for connections, not for pushing e-commerce
  • Users on Facebook are talking and sharing interests with friends, not necessarily ready to buy—unlike on eBay or Amazon. Use Facebook strategically.

  • Content must comply with the Facebook Page Terms. Sites promoting products such as adult items or prescription pharmaceuticals can publish on Facebook only with custom services.
