GDPR

GDPR came into force on May 25, 2018

The "General Data Protection Regulation" (GDPR) is the new Privacy Regulation. It became effective on May 25, 2018 across Europe, and businesses and professionals worked to comply with the new law. Are you compliant?
Penalties for non-compliance can reach the higher of 20 million euros and 4% of the previous year's annual turnover, so it is crucial to align as soon as possible if you have not already done so.

To support merchants who must face this significant change, Open2b released a new version of its e-commerce platform that greatly simplifies the procedures required to comply with the new law.

  • Consent creation and management system
  • Define processing activities and privacy notices for profiles, orders, and quotes
  • Consent tracking and history
  • Anonymization and deletion of abandoned carts
  • Provide customer data in a structured format
  • Automated management via API

It is also ideal as the base for your new e-commerce site. The Axis template, like the updated Respy templates, is designed with features for the new GDPR privacy regulation.
