Brand-new orders area on the site2020 update

Customers can access their order history through a brand-new site section, completely redesigned to provide easy access to real-time details on orders, shipments, and returns.

From the new area, customers can review orders, track shipments, and start returns if desired, under the conditions you set. They can also quickly reorder individual products or place an order identical to a previous one.

Orders by multiples and packs2020 update

Paired with the Quantity Discounts feature, this option is available only in the Advanced B2B and Enterprise solutions. It lets you order product packs while keeping inventory quantities tied to individual units. You can also set different prices based on ordered quantities and customer type.

It is also possible to set a single product reference so it can only be ordered in multiples of a given quantity. When the customer adds the item to the cart, the quantity is automatically adjusted to be a multiple of the set value.

Returns management system2020 update

Returns are a key part of e-commerce logistics and marketing. A customer may request a return for various reasons. If your business has a defined returns policy, Open2b provides, exclusively in the Advanced, Advanced B2B, and Enterprise solutions, an advanced system to support return management, helping you optimize time and resources while increasing customer satisfaction so they will order again.

The returns system is fully integrated with orders and shipments. It lets you receive return requests directly from customers or create them in the management panel, and manage approval, timing, and more with quantity checks and rules you set.

Notify customers when access is granted2020 update

In B2B, when a customer registers, access to the store to see prices or place orders is often not granted immediately, but only after verification by the merchant. With the new version, when access is granted, you no longer need to manually send the email; a prefilled email opens in the management panel ready to send.

Satispay is a free app for paying in physical and online stores, topping up mobile credit, paying bills and public administration fees directly from your IBAN.

Satispay with Open2b

Open2b supports payment integration through a dedicated module available on request. You can allow customers to pay quickly without entering credit card details; they only need the app to complete the payment from their account.

How does it work?

Satispay works with an app installed on the smartphone. Customers simply enter their phone number during checkout and then confirm the purchase from their smartphone. The result for the merchant is a higher conversion rate on the e-commerce site.

SEO

Page URLs affect e-commerce indexing and therefore sales. For this reason we redesigned the automatic URL management system, focusing on what matters most: product name, department name, page title, and so on.

The management panel now shows a preview of search results as they would appear in search engines.

Advanced SEO

Advanced SEO includes advanced tools for SEO specialists that give near-total control over site URLs.

You can set a custom URL for each product, department, manufacturer, promotion, page, and even for each filtered navigation results page to better rank against competitors without limitations.

We also made URL management easy for both those who want to improve rankings for specific pages and those who need to do large-scale rewrite work on the site.

For the former, URLs can be customized directly in SEO previews in the management panel for each product, department, page, and so on.

Advanced SEO

For the latter, we built the SEO Tools app that lets you quickly manage rewrites, redirects, conflicts from pages with the same URLs, and automatically rewrite department URLs to include parent department names.

We could not conclude without the new APIs to automate the management of URLs, rewrites, and redirects.

Attributes and views

With Open2b, in addition to variants, you can add attributes that describe each product, such as the heel height of a shoe, the resolution of a camera, or the format and author of a book.

Attributes are used to:

  • define product variants
  • enrich product pages with detailed specs
  • apply promotions to products with specific attribute values
  • tag products for internal use in the management panel
  • apply filters with the new filter navigation system
  • create lists of products that share common attributes when filters are enabled

In addition, attribute views let you limit which attributes appear on product pages and control their display order.

Customer groups

Customer groups let you group customers to offer the same sales conditions on the store:

  • list and sale prices
  • whether to show prices with or without VAT
  • whether to allow orders with optional minimum and maximum amounts
  • whether to allow quotes (B2B editions)
  • promotions to apply
  • whether promotions apply to list price or sale price
  • whether promotions apply to VAT-included or VAT-excluded prices
  • tax area for catalog and cart product prices

  • whether to restrict shipping and payment methods (B2B editions)

Promotions can now be applied to all customers or only to customers in specific groups.

We made B2B features more powerful with a pricing system that lets you differentiate prices by quantity and price tiers.

The new quantity pricing system is so well integrated with the rest of the platform that it feels natural to use, and so flexible that you can define tiers with quantities and prices at the single SKU and price list level.

The flexibility does not end there: for example, you can assign your resellers a quantity-based price list using customer groups, while retail customers can have a traditional price list with prices that do not change with quantity.

Filter-based navigation

Filter navigation is an advanced tool that lets customers browse products using filters on departments, manufacturers, attributes, and price.

Research shows that filter navigation increases sales, especially for stores with many products, because it significantly improves browsing and helps customers find the right products more effectively.

We implemented a filter-based search system in Open2b that keeps performance high:

  • filter by attributes (and variants), departments, and manufacturers
  • filter by price with both a slider and price ranges with product counts
  • price ranges configurable at store, department, manufacturer, and attribute levels
  • display filter options as text or icons
  • option to show or hide product counts for each filter option
  • option to hide filter options with no products
  • choose whether to show all options or only those with more results
  • show product images in lists based on the color selected in the filter

Boost SEO with filter navigation

The filter navigation system pairs perfectly with Advanced SEO, letting you manage the content of filter results pages directly in the management panel. For these pages you can also customize the URL to maximize product indexing in search engines.

We designed them to be truly easy to use. With the brand-new Template Editor you can add, edit, and remove filters. A real-time preview lets you see results before applying them to the site. The entire look and behavior of filter navigation on the site is fully customizable by you or a designer, directly through the Template Editor in the management panel.

Multiple discounts with or without VAT

With Open2b, you can define multiple discounts on the total amount, applying up to five discounts in cascade, both fixed and percentage-based. Discounts can also be applied to the total including VAT as well as excluding VAT.

Template Editor

GDPR
