Integrated quotes

With Open2b editions specialized in B2B e-commerce, you enable both B2B and B2C customers to request a quote online, review your proposal, and approve it directly from the store. Discover the advantages of an innovative online quote management system integrated into the purchasing process, accelerating the transition from negotiation to order in B2B relationships.

Quote requests

Interested visitors can request an online quote for products you have enabled for quoting. You can decide, with increasing levels of precision, whether an entire customer group can access only quoted products, whether a product should always be on quote, or only when certain quantities are ordered.

The customer adds desired products to the online store cart and requests a personalized quote based on their needs. The Open2b e-commerce platform, in editions specialized for B2B, guides them through the request and the notification arrives by email to both the customer and you, enabling prompt handling.

Once created, the customer receives the online quote by email and in their private area, reviews the proposal, and accepts it directly online. The Open2b e-commerce platform will automatically convert the accepted online quote into a new order ready to be managed and paid. Everything is simple, fast, and intuitive.

Quantity price tiers and customer groups

The Open2b Advanced B2B edition is enhanced with a pricing management system that lets you differentiate prices by quantity with price tiers.

Quantity discounts

The Open2b e-commerce platform, in editions specialized for B2B, allows you to set quantity and price tiers at the single reference level. Not only that, each price list can be organized with different prices and quantity tiers, then associated with defined customer groups.

The ability to associate different price lists and quantity tiers to different customer groups, with granularity down to the single customer, lets you show reserved prices only to customers you authorize and grant access to. For example, you can assign resellers a price list with quantity pricing and VAT excluded, while retail customers receive a traditional price list with VAT included and prices that do not vary by quantity.

Notify customers when access is granted

In B2B, when a customer registers, access to the store to view prices or place orders is often not granted immediately. Access is granted later by the merchant after verification. With the new version, when access is granted, you no longer need to manually send the email; a prefilled email opens in the management panel ready to send.

B2B customer groups

At the customer group level you can set, in addition to order minimums and maximums and which price lists are associated, whether products should be shown with VAT included or not, and which payment and shipping methods are selectable by customers in a given group.
