E-commerce platform with integrated PayPal

PayPal is a payment system that lets your customers pay for online sales directly by credit card or using their PayPal account. Payments you receive from customers on the online store will go to your PayPal account and can then be transferred to your bank account.

PayPal does not exclude other payment systems. You can, for example, activate a payment system from your bank for credit cards while also offering PayPal. This way customers with a PayPal account can pay directly from their account without having to use a credit card.

How to activate it

You need to activate a Business account on PayPal. To do so, go to the PayPal site and register. To register, you will need the details of your bank account, which will be used as the linked account.

Once you have opened the Business account, go to the Open2b e-commerce platform management panel, create a new payment method based on PayPal, and enter the email used to register with PayPal.

Payment and settlement

Your customers, once they complete an order, can immediately proceed to payment on the PayPal site in complete security, paying with a credit card or their PayPal account. Once payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation email from PayPal and the order in the management panel will be automatically marked as paid. On the PayPal site you can then view transaction details.

PayPal Pro and Checkout

PayPal Pro and PayPal Checkout are alternatives to the traditional system because they allow your customers to pay by credit card directly in your store without going to the PayPal site

They provide the same high level of security as the traditional system because even if the customer enters card data on your store, that data is sent directly to PayPal without passing through your server.

PayPal Pro or PayPal Checkout can be activated after opening a PayPal account. They include a monthly fee and require the purchase of the additional module for the Open2b e-commerce platform.
